This noncredit certificate program prepares students for the U.S. naturalization process. Students develop the knowledge, language skills, and confidence necessary to participate actively in civic life. Instruction includes U.S. history and government, civic principles, rights and responsibilities of citizenship, and preparation for the citizenship interview and exam administered by the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS).
